Experiencing unprecedented demand for its services the company is set for further international expansion and is keen to recruit a specialist NDT Engineer to head up its operations in Scotland.

Amongst your responsibilities will be:-

• Develop new procedures and assisting in the development of alternative acceptance requirements.
• Maintain complex databases of inspection related information for worldwide operations.
• Produce inspection solutions on short notice to satisfy special customer requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new inspection technologies.
• Design new inspection techniques for applications where no historical information is available.
• Select the optimum technology methods to service market needs.
• Select the correct approach to inspection methodology.

Amongst the attributes our client seeks will be:-
• Minimum of 10 years post qualification industrial experience preferably gained in a heavy engineering environment e.g. Oil & Gas. Ideally with 7+ years in Non-Destructive Testing specialising in Ultrasonics.
• Ideally degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science. Minimum Level II UT Certification with the ASNT or equivalent European body.
• In depth knowledge and experience in the use of industrial ultrasound.
• Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivation with a desire to succeed in a team orientated environment and culture.
